I have a story to tell, of how through the goodness of God, I have been redeemed and made new.
Surviving sexual assault early in life, I battled with PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and the consequences of a lot of bad choices in my growing up years. I believed the lies of the enemy, which caused me to spiral out of control, as I held the secret wounds of my past.
By the grace of God, I straightened out in my 20’s. However, even though I was on the straight and narrow, I still grappled with my mental health, and trauma.
Though I’ve always been aware of God’s love for me, it wasn’t until my early 30’s that I truly began to understand how much God valued me as his child. Once I realized that my most important identity was found in Christ, everything changed.
I was born again in 2016. Since then, I’ve been answering His call to encourage women and teen girls through life’s most difficult circumstances, pointing them to their relationship with God, and helping them to know that they are not alone.
Through hope, healing, a deep knowing of who we are in Christ, and a relationship with Him; we can abandon shame, break through chains, and live set free!
