When I think back over my life and how many times it felt like the bad circumstances were final and how stuck I would get in that thought, I wish I had really known and believed then that God was not done writing my story. Because, he wasn’t.
I believe it now. When illness, loss, depression, strained relationships, heart aches, grim outlooks present themselves; I know now that God is not done with me. My story is not done being written because I know that God is faithful and just and good and no matter the outcome in life, he is always with me.
He promises to never forsake us and even when we walk through the valley, he is with us.
And he is with you too, writing your story.

So don’t get stuck in the chapter, but instead, trust him knowing that he can redeem any bad outcome and give it the most beautiful ending, one better than you could have ever imagined.
No, God is not done with you and that’s the best cliff hanger to whatever part of the story you’re walking through.
If you’re struggling through a difficult circumstance here are some things to do:
Pray without ceasing and ask God to be your hands and feet as you walk through whatever difficulty you’re facing. Ask him to guide you through it, giving you wisdom where it’s needed.
Leave worship/praise music on as much as possible and sing/dance along. This is an easy way to center your mind and heart on God and praise and worship is a weapon against the enemy.
Read your Bible. You will read many stories of affliction and redemption, in turn, finding encouragement through whatever you’re facing.
Reach out to other women. Whatever you’re going through, do not go through it without a support system, prayer partners and never ever go through it in secret.
Get a Christian therapist to help you through it.
Seek out a support group. Many local churches have such groups that will welcome you to participate.
