For a friend who is grieving, sometimes there are no words – only tears.
For a loved one who is aching, sometimes there are no words – only tears.
For a child who is struggling, sometimes there are no words- only tears.
For a baby who is fussing, sometimes there are no words – only tears.
For a mama who is breaking, sometimes there are no words – only tears.
For a world that is unraveling, sometimes there are no words – only tears.
When the words don’t come, and only tears can flow; it’s enough.
He knows our pain, our fears and our grief. He knows, and He is with us.
And sometimes, hidden within the tears,
our heart-cry carries the silent words into prayer, and He hears.
