The days we’re living in are challenging, and maybe you too feel the tension and the uncertainty rising up around you.
And maybe you, like me, realize that there’s a fight for each moment of sanity as Satan wages war against your trust, your hope, your faith, your relationships, your mental health, your stability, your clarity and what you know to be true.
There’s a spirit of fear that wants to debilitate you.
A spirit of intimidation that threatens to keep you silent.
A spirit of hate that hopes to destroy you from the inside out, and it has a bite that’s venomous – it’s wrath is paralyzing.
Keep watch, be alert and most importantly…
Don’t stay stuck. Get up.
When you get knocked down today, and you most likely will, RISE UP stronger than what’s being waged against you. To do this, you must put on the full armor of God.
Turn off the tv, and open up your Bible.
Start memorizing and reciting scripture.
Turn up the praise music, and worship Him as your weapon.
Surround yourself with the hope and the peace that can only come from Him, by making God front and center to your life.
Pray without ceasing.
Repent of your sin.
Give Him thanks, even when it’s hard to see the good.
Trust him when you can’t see infront of you.
Give grace to those who need it most.
Put on the full armor of God.
When doubt, fear, hate, confusion, loneliness, anxiety and hopelessness creep in, threatening to steal your peace…
Don’t back down. Stand Firm.
And through the fight, never forget who you are.
You are a child of God, and He will deliver you.
“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”
1 Peter 5-8
The Armor Of God
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.”
